Both refined and practical, our Fishing Jacket is made from water-repellent Italian nylon ripstop, crafted by the experts at Olmetex, a world-renowned mill established in 1954 in Italy’s Como region. Ripstop is a military innovation, often used in uniforms and parachutes — it’s woven using a special technique that creates a fine crosshatch pattern, making it both lightweight and incredibly resistant to tearing. It’s the perfect canvas for a slew of other utility-minded details: eight large pockets, some with zippered closures and some with Velcro for easy opening; a D-ring at the chest to keep your clipper close at hand; snap tab cuffs and a cinchable waist for the perfect fit; and a cowlneck hood to block a brisk wind or keep off the damp.
